Butt Augmentation

Definition - What does Butt Augmentation mean?

A butt, buttock or gluteal augmentation, as it is scientifically called, is a plastic surgery procedure that aims to enhance the contour, size and/or shape of the buttocks area. This can be achieved either by the use of buttock implants, fat grafting or sometimes there can be a combination of the two.

TheConsultation explains Butt Augmentation

Buttock implants are implants filled with silicone that are placed under the gluteal muscle of the buttocks area. On the other hand, butt augmentation through fat grafting entails the fat transfer from one area of the body to the buttocks. This method is sometimes also called Brazilian butt lift.

Through butt augmentation, the butt appears fuller, more round and elevated, offering a more attractive figure and enhancing our self-confidence. Best candidates are people who feel that their buttocks are too small or they are not satisfied with the roundness or overall appearance of their butt. It's also suitable for people who have naturally asymmetrical buttocks. In addition to butt augmentation, a buttock lift at the same time can be performed by the surgical removal of soft tissue.
